The MCBL Group Mission
Our mission is to provide fundamental knowledge on the molecular and cell biology of lipids, both intracellularly and at the extracellular interface, from cells to the whole animal.
Our mission is to provide fundamental knowledge on the molecular and cell biology of lipids, both intracellularly and at the extracellular interface, from cells to the whole animal.
To enhance the knowledge and understanding of the metabolism, function and transport of mammalian lipids, lipid biosynthetic enzymes and transport proteins, and the regulation of the genes that encode these proteins.
The MCBL Group research program is organized into four major themes: (i) molecular regulation of genes involved in lipid homeostasis, (ii) biochemistry of lipid-protein interactions, (iii) lipid compartmentalization and intracellular trafficking and (iv) lipid homeostasis in murine models.
Applicants are invited to join this collaborative research program that operates in a highly interactive environment with excellent facilities.
